Discover Long Island

Kristen Jarnagin – CEO / President

With more than 20 years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, Kristen Jarnagin oversees the official regional organization charged with furthering Long Island’s $6.1 billion tourism economy. A Long Island transplant from Arizona, Jarnagin’s vast knowledge of the tourism industry spans from state tourism marketing, branding a luxury resort and serving as a lobbyist for tourism advocacy. Kristen and her team at Discover Long Island work to promote a positive perception of Long Island across the globe, which draws lucrative visitors, stirs business attraction and drives economic development throughout the region. She’s twice been named one of the Top 50 Women in Business on Long Island and is a graduate from the acclaimed Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. Her favorite pastime is discovering Long Island with her two daughters and reigniting the passion for this place we call home for Long Island natives.


Pipeline Coffee

Pat Tighe – Co – Founder

Pat grew up in Rockville Centre Long Island. His partner Mike and him grew up as family friends.  They both shared the same dream of taking on the service industry. Pat’s background is in bartending, working delis, etc and Mike has a background in setting up a business.  With that, they formed a partnership and began to build their brand which has bloomed into what is now Pipeline Coffee Company. Currently during this Covid-19 pandemic, they are proudly serving our healthcare heroes with a campaign they started called #poweredbypipeline. They have hit roughly 20 different hospitals and civil service departments (ie police stations) across Long Island and even into parts of the city.


Hal’s New York

Stephanie Reda – Director of Brand Development

Stephanie graduated from Saint Joseph’s College on Long Island in May 2018. Throughout her college career, she interned for Body Armor Sports Drink in Queens, NY, where she got her start in the beverage industry. Upon graduation she started full-time at Hal’s New York as Brand Manager, when Hal’s was solely a Seltzer brand. Since then, she’s been able to grow and expand within the company, and is currently the Director of Brand Development. The brand has grown significantly since, and is now a household name.  Hal’s is proudly New York’s go-to Seltzer brand, have launched a successful kettle-chip line, and most recently, Hal’s New York Pretzels!


Orangetheory Fitness

Nick Galanis – President RGL Group

Nick is an area developer and operator for several Long Island and NYC business’ including, Orangetheory Fitness Long Island, Mighty Quinn’s Brooklyn, Beach Bum Tanning Long Island, European Wax Center Long Island, Bareburger Manhattan, and owner of Bowery Bar & Fare in Rockville Center. As part of their COVID 19 response, they have froze all Orangetheory Fitness accounts and are providing members free content to keep up their workouts and have partnered with a local meal prep company to deliver food to essential workers on the front lines.
