Maureen Hanlon


Maureen Hanlon is the president of Onexim Sports and Entertainment, the majority owner and operating company for NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Maureen oversees operations, provides counsel for corporate transactions and acts as liaison between the company and Onexim’s headquarters in Moscow.

Maureen recently led the transactions by which Onexim Sports and Entertainment sold its interests in the Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center at a record valuation for a sports franchise.

Maureen brought more than 25 years of experience in legal practice to her position at Onexim Sports and Entertainment.  She previously worked for Hogan Lovells US LLP where she assisted her clients in acquisitions, joint ventures and commercial transactions in the sports, media and entertainment industries. While at Hogan Lovells, Hanlon served as the primary outside counsel to Onexim for eight years.

Maureen earned her Doctor of Law from Columbia University. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and was named Sports Business Journal’s 2016 Power Players: Outside Counsel.
