The Fine Wine & Food Festival is coming to NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on January 20Oct 10, 2017
LONG ISLAND - The Fine Wine & Food Festival (FWFF) is coming to the newly renovated NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The festival will take place on Saturday, January 20, 2018 and will showcase dozens of wineries from the North Fork of Long Island, New Jersey, and abroad, all of which will be offering up samples of their finest wines.
The Fine Wine & Food Festival (www.finewineandfoodfest.com) will have one session from 1-8:00 p.m., with VIP ticket holders gaining early entry at 12:00 p.m. A limited number of tickets will be sold and if the event sells out, no additional tickets will be available for purchase. General Admission tickets are $49 (advance purchase) and $65 (event day purchase). VIP tickets are $99 and include early entry 1 hour prior to normal event time, an education lesson from a wine sommelier, access to the VIP Area, and a food voucher to a select food vendor. Early Bird pricing of $39 is available from now until October 31. All tickets are subject to taxes and associated fees. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com, nycblive.com, or by calling 1-800-745-3000. Tickets can also be purchased at the Ticketmaster Box Office located at the Coliseum.
This year’s wine tasting extravaganza will showcase wineries from several regions. The pay-one-price general admission ticket gives attendees access to all wine samplings and admission to entertaining wine-focused seminars.
There will be food, entertainment, games, and contests for all attendees to enjoy. Food vendors from Long Island and New York City will be bringing their special tastes and cuisines to the event. In addition, dozens of merchants will be showcasing their finest products for purchase.
“We are thrilled to be able to bring the tastes of many local vineyards from across Long Island and the New York Metropolitan area to the new Coliseum,” said Dan Cohen, owner of event producer Coyote Events Inc. “It’s remarkable to think that for over 2 years, we have been planning this event, and we will finally celebrate it coming to fruition.”
In addition, the festival directors are teaming up with local charities to donate a portion of proceeds from The Fine Wine & Food Festival to the hurricane relief projects as part of the “Corks for Charity” program.
General Admission tickets include admission to the festival, a souvenir tasting cup and the freedom to enjoy samples of any of the wines present at the festival. Food is available for purchase. Designated Driver tickets are also available for $15 each. No one under 21, including designated drivers, will be admitted and photo ID is required for entry.
